If Variety or Variety-Plus describes other musically diverse bands, then we need to coin a new phrase for Ivory & Steel.
In addition to hits from the 30's to the present, including country, rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, dixieland, and swing, we have the intriguing songs and rhythms of the Caribbean-such as calypso/socca, bossa nova, reggae, meringue, cha cha, etc.
QUICK:
Switch to the Pacific and a beautiful Hawaiian song.
OOPS:
We could have stopped on the way for a Louisiana Zydeco song, or would you prefer a Polka.

All of these choices are available by two instrumentalists performing especially for you.

 

IVORY
BURT KIMBERL:
Sax and Keyboards with a multitude of sounds, expertly coordinated with custom style computer sequencing created by Burt and/or Cal.

HOLD IT:
That's not all. Burt has the unique capability to change his voice so he can sing all styles, and make each sound like his most comfortable one.

 

STEEL
CAL STEWART:
Caribbean steel drums tastefully used in all styles. Sometimes as a subtle accompaniment, sometimes as an enchanting solo. To add even more dimension, Cal also performs on Flute and Trumpet.
